With a bright, poppy color scheme of teal, coral, yellow, green and orange (with some refined accents of rose gold and gray), this wedding had the best kind of summer vibes, all while staying cool indoors! An indoor, air conditioned wedding is something that this wedding photographer always appreciates in a Texas summer, I assure you! I love that the ceremony and reception spaces at Ashton Gardens bring so much of the outdoors inside with their enormous windows. It's a bit like most of the walls of the chapel are made of the forest! Those windows also bring in so much natural light for daytime weddings, which any photographer has to love. Let's all ooh and ahh over the sheer lace bodice and separate full skirt (which was so perfect for twirling at the reception) that make up Caitlin's gorgeous wedding gown. It's one of my favorite gowns in recent years. The delicate pearl hair accent in her braided up-do finishes off her look beautifully. Jason looks suave as all get-out in that gray suit, with a bright orange boutonniere that matches his tie perfectly. The fact that his groomsmen wore vests without suit coats made Jason the obvious center of attention (and that wardrobe choice was a kindness to the groomsmen when we briefly stepped out into the heat for photos). In addition to Jason's boutonniere, Thistle Floral Design did an outstanding job on all of the bouquets and other arrangements! I always love, love, love succulents in a bouquet! They bring such an interesting texture into the arrangement. While the bridal bouquet was a color palette that I've photographed other times, Caitlin's bouquet was created with a creative combination of flowers, greenery, berries and succulents that I've not seen all together before! Dan Reynolds with LeForce Entertainment kept everyone on the dance floor all night, though I must say that Jason and Caitlin's people came ready to get their dance on!
